A. Our crews are able to lay 1,000 square feet of flooring per day. We strive to finish most projects within a day.

Q: DO YOU RECOMMEND SOLID OR ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORS?
A: The area where you are installing the flooring will dictate the materials you select. Solid and engineered wood floors are both made of real wood. Solid wood flooring ranges between ¾” to 5/16” in thickness and can be used in area above ground area. Solid wood flooring can also be sanded and refinished a number of times. Engineered floors are made from layers of multiple wood veneers. This material is ideal for concrete slabs or basements.

Q: WHAT CAN I DO TO MINIMIZE SCRATCHES AND IDENTATIONS ON HARDWOOD FLOORS?
A: Using felt protectors on furniture legs can help to prevent scratches. It is also important to keep pet’s nails trimmed to reduce claw marks in the flooring.

Q: WHEN PURCHASING HARDWOOD FLOORS, WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR?
A: Thicker planked woods are the best choice when it comes to selecting materials. Thicker boards can be sanded and restrained numerous times

Q: HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY HARDWOOD FLOORS?
A: Hardwood floors are easy to maintain. Sweeping with a soft bristle broom or dry mop is recommended weekly. Once a month clean your wood floors with a wood floor clean to brighten the floor’s finish. If a spill occurs, wipe immediately using a dry cloth.
